D~TecH was started in 1995. The idea of starting a company with European roots (Egide) was a challenge. The success of this
challenge has been the Solid Reputation to attract other "TOP" lines from Europe and North America to the company's
portfolio. In 1999, the organization expanded and has been growing ever since. D~TecH provides professional service for
World Class Principals to all of its customers.
Dennis T. Hanley has over 30 years of experience in Microelectronics. He has held various positions: Purchasing Manager of
Raw Materials for a major semiconductor corporation, servicing facilities in Chandler, Arizona, Glenrothes, Scotland, Koahsung,
Tiiwan, and Hicksville, NY. He was VP Business Director for a major thick film manufacturer, overseeing a UK facility and
a world wide engineering sales organization. He was VP General Manager of a major hermetic package manufacturer, which developed
MIM metal injection mold technique to lower costs and increase profits. He was President of a Hybrid manufacturer, where
he helped to merge six different business divisions together to make one synchronized business. He has been active over the
last 27 years in IMAPS, holding various chapter positions for the development of microelectronics, including presenting technical
papers on hermetic packaging.
Joseph A. Couture has over 20 years of experience in microelectronic components and manufacturing. Before joining D~TecH
in 1999, he held various positions at Film Microelectronics (FMI). He started at FMI as a buyer in 1988, then shortly after
in 1990, he was promoted to Director of Operations. He managed the entire day to day hybrid manufacturing process. During
this time, he increased product throughput, yields, and profitability. In 1995 he became the Northeast sales manager covering
the entire east coast territory. This sales position allowed him to work with design engineers to purchasing managers in
the design and customer support of products in the Military, Telecom, medical, and commercial markets.
